I was raised by a single mother in Flint, Michigan. My love for cooking started as a young girl who use to watch day-time television with my granny, particularly "Emeril LIVE." When the kids watched Cartoon Network, I was watching the Food Network. Good Eats starring Alton Brown to be exact.

This love lead me to becoming a classically trained chef, with a career spanning a decade-plus.

What I've learned through it all? Cooking isn't just about how well you know how to pair ingredients and flavors together, it's also about having the right mindset every time you go into the kitchen.

This lead me to create a gateway. Scratch that. 

The gateway to unlocking your cooking potential. The formula, crafted from years of training and studying designed to change the way you see food for boundless meal creation. I call it, The Cooking Experience.
